Sugaring takes time for lots of sugar babies
Some babies get lucky, they find their whales or first daddies within days or weeks of making profiles and sending messages.
There are lots of sugar babies like us, though? It’s months before we finally actually go on a date with a potential sugar daddy who doesn’t flake, and another one before they finally make an allowance offer.
Potential sugar daddies might disappear after that first date, might stop talking to you after they see your pictures, might flake on you, or only give you one months allowance before they fade into the night. You might only get one or two messages a week, and then get $250/meet offers.
If you can’t afford to be patient, don’t start. If you need money this week, sell some clothes, because sugaring is not a guaranteed deal, and it certainly isn’t always expedient.
It took me nearly half a year to find my first sugar daddy, and I was in the bowl for nearly 3 before I found the arrangement I have now. So don’t give up, and don’t get discouraged if the timeline is a little extended.
Always have plan B
I mean, always have a back-up in case your new sugar daddy doesn’t work out. Because it really sucks when they don’t and you’re left without a paddle…and an allowance.

All that is great, but, honestly, those are the exceptions, the “lottery” hits that lure girls into the game looking to buy their own ticket.
There is a darker and scarier side as well: there are a lot of men that prey on those girls and do terrible things to them, put them in horrible situations, abuse them and take advantage of their innocence or lack of experience.
This abuse can be mental or physical; both leave deep scars that will never heal. If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is; that familiar maxim applies in full force in the sugar world.
